MQTT Distributor Module

MQTT clients can securely connect, publish, and subscribe

This module serves as an MQTT server compliant with the OASIS standard 3.1.1 of the MQTT protocol. It enables MQTT clients in Ignition to securely connect, publish, and subscribe to data, facilitating data delivery to both operational and business applications across the enterprise.

The module comes in two versions:

• Distributor: Supports up to 50 MQTT clients simultaneously.
• Distributor Plus: Supports up to 250 MQTT clients simultaneously, which is ideal for larger applications.

Key features of the MQTT Distributor module

A combination of this module with the MQTT Engine module provides the components with a standalone MOM (Message-Oriented Middleware) infrastructure from a single Ignition Gateway. This combination meets the requirements for IIoT and SCADA applications across larger areas. It is ideal for situations where there is limited or expensive communication, such as in VSAT or mobile connectivity. This solution is also highly effective for increasing data throughput for high-quality factory solutions.

This module is a standalone product and can be purchased as a standalone MQTT server without an Ignition license. This makes it ideal for deploying one or multiple Distributor modules, providing scalability, redundancy, and various location applications to enhance reliability.
