Move data bidirectionally

The module utilizes transaction groups that act as a bidirectional data bridge between an OPC server and a SQL database. Transaction groups can perform many data-centric tasks, such as event logging, vertical and horizontal data storage, inserting rows into a table, storing data in a specific row, and more.

Easily log data
The simplest and most powerful data logger on the market includes triggers, handshakes, expressions, and other items that allow you to store data precisely the way you need. Triggers offer endless possibilities for data storage:

Synchronize PLCs with databases
Expand your PLC address space to a SQL database with bidirectional mirroring, reflecting any value change in the PLC or the database endpoint immediately in the other endpoint. Bidirectional mirroring enables real-time control via common web technologies and other database-compatible front ends. Set the update frequency for rows and fields (up to rates of less than one second) and create two-dimensional lists by adding rows. This module is the first and only software in the industry to offer this functionality.

Build recipe and batch systems
By extending your process to the database with the SQL Bridge module, the module’s full bidirectional access enables you to create a robust, custom recipe and batch system. Use the database to store an unlimited number of recipes and customize recipes wherever and whenever you want, while all changes are tracked historically. Set up reliable database-to-PLC transactions using triggers and handshakes. Utilize stored procedures to perform complex tasks or replace outdated transaction systems.

Track your processes
Flexible triggers and database tables allow you to easily navigate entire processes. Use dynamic references to step through an index to a row of values that are then written to the PLC. Create complex triggers, referencing multiple process variables and expressions, using a simple expression language. Use rows and fields as timers and counters using the unique built-in hour meter and event meter functions.
